APOLOGY

What's this about an apology? Am I finally going to apologize for being rude, negative, bitter, and caustically sarcastic??

Hell, no!!! Just wait until you read my upcoming rant. You'll go into shock and will be rendered speechless for months.

Here's what I'm apologizing for:

First of all, ever since the recent changes that Blogger has made, I'm having trouble navigating around here. The new format makes things much more difficult (at least for me). I've been missing many posts on other blogs.

Most importantly, I recently changed my settings to Comment Moderation and had no clue where to find the comments. It wasn't until tonight that I went on a Blogger scavenger hunt and discovered the "Comment" thingie on the sidebar. I had no idea that there were some comments awaiting moderation.

SO -
I wasn't ignoring your comments - - I simply didn't know where the hell they were.

Now that I have that cleared up, I can get on with my so-called life and continue mercilessly irritating you with future posts.

  1. Blogger! It's turning into one of those words that makes me see red. Yes, it's messed up my dashboard too. Grrr!

  2. Lately Blogger has been the main source of my frustrations. I suppose it's comforting to know that at least I'm not alone.

  3. Blogger and YouTube are doing strange things lately. Google owns them both. Need I say more.

    1. I don't really know what the heck Blogger is doing, but I think the old dashboard no longer exists. I HATE this new format!!!

  6. Comment moderation is supposed to send comments to my email and often does, but not always. I routinely look there first for messages, then --less regularly and less methodically-- check that sidebar thing at whatever we call that thing that now isn't a dashboard. Excuse me, I have now confused myself. Which reminds me, "excuse me" is a phrase I have long used in lieu of more effusive and dramatic acknowledgements when I have made an error. We'll get through this together, shall we? This is probably why I don't go to church anymore: there is nothing in scripture that addresses a polite "excuse me", only scenery-chewing exaggerations of it followed by damnation. I look forward to easier blog-wrangling all 'round. Don't know if I ever had more fun commenting!

    1. I was born confused, and Blogger is only making my condition worse.
I NEVER use my g-mail account, which is undoubtedly why I never get comments via email.

  8. Change for change sake is sooooo stupid!
I wonder if this isn't the way in which DH feels when the grocers decides to rearrange their store shelves.

    1. I'd personally like to wring the neck of the genius who conceived the idea of this latest Blogger Bomb.

  9. This had me messed up until I found readers list and clicked it. I wished they would leave things alone. It's cold here again tonight. Stay warm. Jean

    1. I would have NEVER found the reader's list, but someone told me about it. It's presently 15 degrees here (it's after midnight as I'm writing this).

  10. Jon,
Add me to the crowd of now confused Blogger users. I have no idea of what had been improved with this latest "upgrade" to Blogger.

I love comments. Go ahead and leave one - I won't bite. But make sure you have a rabies shot just in case.
