I forgot to mention something on my previous post, Is Paris Burning?

When I said that "the death of Christianity is a popular sentiment in Europe", it wasn't merely fabricated fluff.

The number of anti-Semitic attacks in France rose 74 per cent in 2017-2018.
And 875 churches in France were vandalized last year.

Who is perpetrating these atrocities?
It sure isn't the Christians.

This strongly leads me to believe that the Notre Dame Cathedral fire was set on purpose. I hope I'm wrong - but my intuition is usually right.

It's pouring tonight here in the Tennessee wilderness and the rain is a reflection of the tears in my soul. I'm in an extremely plaintive mood.

I thought this would be an appropriate time to post my video Lacrimosa, which I made many years ago. It's not one of my best efforts, but I still like it.

The Lacrimosa (Tears) is from Mozart's great Requiem - which he was writing in 1791, ironically just before his own death at the age of 35 (the work was left unfinished).

The anguish, grief, and heart-wrenching appeal for mercy in this work never fails to tear at my soul.

Tearful will be that day
when from the ashes shall rise
all humanity to be judged.
Therefore O God
spare us by your mercy.
Gentle Lord Jesus
grant them eternal rest.

  1. Lacrimosa is so moving it produces tears, Nevertheless I love it.
I agree with you in your suspicions about that awful fire, it was and still is my view that it wasn't accidental.

  2. I see the government is already putting a spin on this. What, a little truth is a dangerous thing?
    This video is truly wonderful.

  3. Tis something to think about ... and ... the Video is Wonderful..

I love comments. Go ahead and leave one - I won't bite. But make sure you have a rabies shot just in case.
