IMAGINING OCTOBER

Well, my imagination is all I have left and I want to share it with you.

Medical updates and autumnal images mix as well as heaven and hell. First I'll give a brief medical update.

I saw the wound care doctor yesterday (Tuesday?). Usually there's an annoying entourage - - two doctors, a nurse practitioner, and an "assistant". Yesterday it was only my usual wound care doctor. No one else. The cancerous wound on my upper arm has shrunk condiderably, no bleeding at all for the past two weeks. Good news.

Another curious bombshell. The mysterious Cookeville doctor appointment on November 10th that nobody told me about has suddenly been canceled. Who canceled it.....and why? Halloween goblins playing tricks? This same thing has happened numerous times over the past months.

And, of course, I ask questions......and nobody knows.

A lot of nothing is known here. A lot.

A transition

I know nothing about this autumn 2025 nor anything about my house and property.

Probably never will. No, no.....let's not go to the unknown.

I'm zonked on medications that do not alleviate the pain.

I can only offer my personal imagination of autumn. I made at least 200 autumn AI images this year. It was nearly impossible to pick favorites.

Jon, ❤️

When you speak of this, and you will.........be kind.

I'm teasing you with "Tea and Sympathy".

"Listen to them, the children of the night. What music they make!"

Count Dracula to Jonathan Harker.

I like these images so much that it inspired a rerun.....from the 1897 novel "Dracula" by Bram Stoker.

Midnight journey to Dracula's Castle.

I've been having an interest in antique Halloween clocks, so I "created" some - - which were inspired by Paranormal John (who likes my "real-life" antique Halloween clock).

Midnight Hungarian Magyar duet with violin and mandolin.

Journey of the witch

Could be the witches' house

Telling ghost stories.....

October Eve

Midnight Rider

Danse Macabre

Autumn, stitch by stitch

And my real, genuine autumn clock

P.S.
Well, I've successfully published my reply to Carolyn's comment - - but my numerous attempts replying to Kim, John, Myra, Rita, and Ron's comments have completely failed. Blogger Halloween pranks?

My apologies, Jon

Ron, you can steal any of my pictures  😸

  1. Jon, if you are still on hospice, I suspect they are responsible for the curious things happening. My mother was on hospice and we had to sign papers acknowledging that all of her care would be in their control and she would no longer be given special treatments. She was 93 years old and would be kept comfortable. Ask to see the paperwork you signed when you went on hospice. Also, the hospital should have a social worker of some sort that advocates for you. 1. I don't like Hospice at all, and they only signed me up to cover my insurance. Things have been getting mixed up with Signature Health Care and Hospice, including my medication.
      Thanks for the information, Carolyn

  2. Oh Wow......my beloved Halloween clocks...and the cherry on the sundae...the real one!
It made my day, Jon. Thank you so much. I love all the pics, esp. anything with a kitty.
The care there sounds like a train wreck....and having worked in the 'business' most of my life it's not surprising. Actually, not much surprises me anymore...health care or otherwise. I hope you're able to manage an escape as long as everything is in place with your home care.
The leaves are starting to fall here in NE Ohio. We've had some glorious days, but the rain has moved in tonight and we're to get several rainy days. Tis the season, at least in Ohio.
Take care. Keep pushing forward (the best you can) and hopefully you'll start seeing some sunsets from your own home.

  3. I'm with Paranormal John - I really like your Halloween clock! Anyhow, I am so glad to hear that your cancerous wound has STRUNK!

Your AI creations are, as usual, extremely enjoyable - keep them coming please!

  4. I so enjoy your imagination, Jon. It reminds me of a favorite quote, "Our thoughts are the only ticket needed to ride."
Great imagery again. My favorites are the midnight ride under a full moon and the field of pumpkins. That witch's facial features bear a startling resemblance to my old boss!
