HALLOWEEN HAVEN

There's nothing more tacky and humiliating than pimping your own wares. Despite rampant rumors to the contrary, I'm a modest and humble person with a disdain for ostentatious proclivities.

BUT I'm not so humble that I wouldn't pimp in desperation. I'd rather make a fool of myself on a public blog than wear an advertisement sign in the Walmart parking lot.

So, what the heck am I talking about?

I just opened a new Zazzle store called Halloween Haven
I already have two other Zazzle stores (links are somewhere on my sidebar). They are large and cluttered with items. I thought about closing them but - incredibly - I still sell things from each of them, almost every day.

Zazzle sellers can have as many stores as they want. I know some who have a dozen. I'm not in it for the money (I only get a 12 per cent commission for each item I sell). I love the creative aspect of designing these items. It's a pleasant pastime.

I consider Halloween Haven to be a small boutique. I created it on the spur of the moment and designed over 250 items in the span of a week. I plan to add a lot more items as the fall season progresses.

Since Halloween is my favorite time of year, I wanted to have a store solely dedicated to selling Halloween-oriented items ( the Halloween spirit lives all year long).

Here is a haphazard (small) sample of my available items.
I tried to incorporate old-fashioned traditional Halloween designs, which are my favorites.

Pillows

Mugs

Greeting Cards and Stickers

Since this post is essentially an advertisement, I've decided to suspend comments.     Cheers, Jon

RUDE INTERRUPTION

We interrupt this blog with an annoying and blatantly shameless commercial break.

It's February (I think)
and Valentine's Day is just around the proverbial corner.

Check out my new designs in the Valentine Collection of my Zazzle store
Diverse Intentions

(if this link doesn't work, try the one on my sidebar - - if that doesn't work, I'm doomed)

Here are a few samples - which should thrill you beyond redemption.

DIVERSE INTENTIONS

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I truly hate self-promotion. It's degrading and humiliating, but it's also sometimes necessary.

I opened my second Zazzle store yesterday, and all Zazzle store owners are compelled (forced) to do their own promotion.

Why a second store?
 My first store Catnip Creations
is okay, and I plan to keep it, but my new store is far better.

How so?
Well, now I know what I'm doing. Or at least I'm almost reasonably sure of what I'm doing.....
That's progress.

My new Zazzle store is called Diverse Intentions mainly because I've attempted to include a diverse collection of styles: traditional and abstract, inspirational and macabre.
A Harvest of the Unique

I've designed nearly 1500 items and I'm only half done.

Among the categories are some unusual ones - including Zodiac and Memento Mori.

A few random samples:

Zodiac
t shirts, mugs, pillows, jewelry

The Persistence of Time
unusual wall clocks and watches

Memento Mori
Only for the morbid

Inspirational
You can find a guardian angel here
(Heaven knows I need one)

 also.....
an interesting array of apparel, accessories, posters, coffee mugs, porcelain plates, teapots, pillows, jewelry, keepsake boxes, blankets....
and, of course, mouse pads

I know this is getting too long and pretentious, but I'm on a roll.

 Unique posters

   Porcelain plate

I'll eventually put the link on my blog sidebar.
