VISUALS OF OCTOBER

Pictures are often more powerful than words......but, then, it depends on what you say.

I often say far too much, but I want to mention one thing before we embark on an unforgettable journey of visual delights.

When I was in the waiting room of the radiation department in Cookeville Medical Center, a few weeks ago - I met a 93 yr. old man.

He lives entirely alone on twenty acres in rural Tennessee. Been there for over 40 years. He has bears on his property. He has a collection of shotguns, which he uses.

I'm against violence and killing - - but ya gotta do what ya gotta do......

I'm young enough to be his son....very very possibly his grandson.

I don't intend to weave imitations of Navajo baskets. I don't try to recall the greatest hits of Steven Foster.

I ain't dead.....yet.

Pictures?

Accompany me.

"Listen to them, the children of the night. What music they make!"

Count Dracula to Jonathan Harker

This is one of my favorites. I made eight wolf images, and I like all of them.

Midnight Watch

An Impasse

Ladies Friday morning Bible study.............oh, don't be alarmed. Some of my images have a tiny smidgen of raw reality.

Friday Night Children's Ghost Story Brigade

When White Cats Go Wrong

A Halloween clock for Paranormal John

October Morn

Witches Dance

Duet Under the Harvest Moon

Could harbor unpleasant mysteries

Just about how I feel right now....you'll get no replies from me.

John, this is the only photo I can find of my Halloween clock. For some unknown reason, the little brass spindle thingie is missing from the top. I still have it....somewhere.

A recent card from my cousin Cookie in Florida. One of the very few people left on earth who cheer me up.

Jon, existing....just existing

Purposefully reticent 🖤☠️

  1. Thank you so much, Jon, for posting the Halloween clock(s). That made my day. I'm saving those pics! Very special, indeed.
I'm so sorry to hear of any further medical issues/setbacks. Not knowing the situation,
I can only say I wish you the best and hope things resolve. I'll leave it at that.
