A very quick post. I have a very bad Internet connection in this room - which is why I haven't posted. I finished one week of radiation and have possibly three weeks to go.
I will post whenever possible.
Love, Jon 😺❤️
I'll write in much more detail when or if I get a decent connection. I have to go to Cookeville early every morning for radiation. It is extremely grueling. I am absolutely exhausted.
If your comments dont appear, I'll keep checking whenever possible. Dealing with nameless anonymity is a bitch.
Good to hear from you! Pat
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to be back. Thanks, Pat.
DeleteIt is nice to hear from you! I was away and when I came back, I saw you hadn't posted and was hoping you were fine. Take care.
ReplyDeleteSome anonymous jackass left a comment saying I was dead. I ain't pushing daisies yet.
DeleteI see you're hanging in there. It's so frustrating to have a poor connection, so I'm glad you were able to post even briefly. Roll on the end of the radiation series. So good to hear from you, because I've been wondering.
ReplyDeleteWith all the radiation I'm having, I'll be able to send electric signals. Thanks, Liz.
DeleteNever having witnessed its effects (back in 2013), I never would have guessed radiation therapy is so very Grueling.
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting us know you're still fighting.
❤️
The radiation is painless and mild - - but the hour-long (one way) trip to Cookeville is really grueling. Thanks, Myra.
DeleteThank you for the update. I also wondered.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear from you, Sandra. Thanks!
DeleteThank you for letting us know, sorry about the exhaustion and ongoing challenges. Grateful to know you are still not giving up.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jo
Everything from this entire ordeal is completely exhausting - but I won't give up. Thanks, Jo.
Deletethecontemplativecat here. Good to see your name. Keep on keeping on? Is that a phrase from something or my brilliance shining through?
ReplyDeleteKeep on keeping on is exactly what I keep doing. Your brilliance is shining.
DeleteI hope your radiation is successful. No more for me. I'm done with all that. This is a decision this 84 year old has made. I'm exhausted enough as it is. I can't get any more exhausted. Good luck to you Jon. Can't wait until you return to your home again.
ReplyDeleteRon
The older we get, the more exhausting things get - - I understand your feelings. Thanks, Ron.
DeleteI appreciate positive thoughts, they always help. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou have surprised me again! I'm glad for you, but I wish you could get back in your own home, as I know that's what you want.
ReplyDeleteI really want to go home, but I have radiation treatments most of this month, and then physical therapy for my back and legs. Good to hear from you, Donna.
DeleteJon, the more you hang in there, the more the bads don’t get their way. :-)
ReplyDelete-Rj
That's logical advice. I try to expunge the negatives (not exactly easy....).
DeleteThanks, Rj
Glad you checked in so we'll know how you're doing. May we offer as much Emotional Support as will be Helpful, and lend an Ear and Shoulder, as you battle thru the Radiation Regimen. Big Hugs from the Arizona Desert and Healing Energies.
ReplyDeleteI certainly appreciate healing energies, and I'd like to be at peace in the Arizona Desert. My parents visited there often when I was a child.
