Welcome to spring!
While I'm writing this it's early morning, 19 degrees (Fahrenheit) with frost.
It will eventually warm up.
I think......... Jon

Sorry for poor audio quality
You played that a lot better than I did as a kid! Well done, and thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Liz! I was initially only going to post the first video, but then I decided to add the second and live dangerously *smile*
DeleteThanks, Jon, for "living dangerously" as you stated in the reply to Liz.The start of spring will be chilly in Nashua, NH, but actually warmer than in TN with mid 30s predicted.
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'll have to move to NH to get some warmer weather. These frosty temperatures are rather unusual for this time of year. I'm worried that the Easter Bunny might get frostbite.
DeleteThat was very lovely and much needed to welcome in Spring, especially since today it's only 42 out. I guess our warm spells over at least till next week.
ReplyDeleteI almost forgot about the arrival of spring because it still feels like winter. Hopefully things will thaw out soon. Perhaps in April or May? (*smile*)
DeleteWarm wishes on this first day of spring.
Both beautiful and elegant! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kim, it's good to hear from you. I pray that this spring will bring some semblance of peace and positivity to us both. We deserve it! Take care.
DeleteYes, Jon - we sure do! :-)
DeleteThe arrival of Spring is one of my least favorite times of the year (2nd only to Summer) ... but your stirring arrangements make me forget to feel sorry for myself. (LOL)
ReplyDeleteI have mixed feelings about the change of seasons. I like spring because it signifies the end of long brutal winter....but then we have to endure summer. I love autumn, but it's followed by long brutal winter. *sigh*....I can't win.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed the videos.
Happy spring, Jon. I hope it warms up down there. We have it go back and forth, back and forth. Was 65 just last week and we have had a dusting of snow twice and a bit more expected tomorrow. But it will all be gone in no time again, I'm sure. Brown winters are not for me.
ReplyDeleteThe weather here is annoying, to say the least - - 70 degrees one day and 35 the next. Hopefully this recent frost will be the last of the season. We get beautiful spring blossoms and the frost kills them overnight. It happens every year.
DeleteYou are certainly a talent, Jon. While I can insert a catheter into an artery with ease, your skills amaze me. I imagine it's a comfort for you, being able to make music like that, the ability to change people's moods from low to high.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the Pacific Northwest at the moment, and it's been almost summer like, temps in the middle 70's. As pleasant as it is, I think it doesn't bode well for months ahead.
Hope your doing better, let us know.
Mike
Mike I wouldn't have the courage to insert a catheter - I applaud you for being able to do it. I would faint on the spot.
DeleteMusic has always been a great solace and emotional outlet for me. It works like a tranquilizer.
The Pacific Northwest is so beautiful. Enjoy your stay!
A beautiful sunny 72 degrees here today on the first day of spring.
ReplyDeleteYour musical talent is endless, such an uplifting piece for you to share.
Hope you are healing nicely.
Jo
The first day of spring was frosty and unseasonably chilly in my area, but it is slowly warming up. Hopefully no more frost!
DeleteUnfortunately, my physical problems seem to be endless - - but at least music soothes my soul.
