I am presently in the ER at Cookeville Medical Center. I have no tangible information, and have no idea how long I'll be here.
I felt extremely bad this morning (Friday) the home care nurse thought it's best for me to be in Cookeville - instead of clueless Livingston Hospital.
So far I'm getting a lot of thorough tests for everything, instead of the previous guessing games. I am cautiously optimistic and determined. Don't worry.
No matter what happens, I'm getting good care.
What a dismal holiday season!!
Luv to all. Jon
Cell battery is getting low and I don't have my charger. Don't worry if I don't post for awhile.
Oh dear, what a season. I hope you get relief soon.
ReplyDeletePraying for you, Jon.
ReplyDeleteUpdate? How are you?
DeleteNot great, but pushing foreward. I'll be ok.

DeleteOh no. Hope you can get home soon.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're in a new hospital that might do a better job of taking care of you!
DeleteOh Jon, I wish I could wave a magic wand to make you all better and be at your home again enjoying the peace and serenity of your wooded hillside residence. Keep us posted as to how you're managing. Thank goodness you're being taken care of.

DeleteOH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please take good care...Im sorry to have to read this. I will continue with the good healing vibes for you. Keep us posted when you can Jon. Let's hope you can put this behind you soon.
ReplyDeleteI think going to the hospital was the right thing to do. They need to get to the bottom of this. I know further testing is overwhelming....but. In my time in home nursing, I sent many off to the hospital and never doubted my decision. I hope some of these issues can be resolved and you can find some answers....and treatment. Keep us posted, Jon. Sending you hope and recovery.

Jon, as much as you were determined to keep pushing on in your own home, being where you can get help seems the best option now. Hope that Cookeville is better than Livingston at finding a solution.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it will turn out to be for the best.

ReplyDeleteI just talked to Jon, he's doing ok, on various meds, seemed to be in good spirits on the phone. He'll be in the hospital for a bit, I think. I'm sure he'd appreciate some messages.
