ESSENCE OF SPRING

There are echoes of piano music in the other room. But we don't want to hear that.......The pianist is out of practice.

You are demanding medical updates.

The pianist is slowly getting over the flu, after coughing continuously for three weeks. He's regaining his sense of taste ( can now fully enjoy the hospital food).A biopsy was taken from that cyst on his arm....but it's not a cyst. Looks horrid but no pain whatsoever. Biopsy results next week.

What the hell. Still have back and hip pain....but not as much. I'm drugged with meds.

Life's a crap and a half.

I know you're eagerly waiting for more of my AI (artificial intelligence) images. As much as you wanted my piano music.

Jon is cutting you with bitter sarcasm. Ignore him.

I was always interested in AI but knew absolutely nothing about it. My creativity is limited and my knowledge of technology is........void.

(do I use too many dots.......?)

Most AI enthusiasts do fantastic over-the-top creations - - fantasies, futuristic, etc. I'm not into avant garde. I'm a traditionalist. I like simple, beautiful things.

I recently generated some of my visions of spring. I know this will absolutely enthrall you.

When I signed up with Freepik (my AI generator, and it's not exactly free) I wanted to try it for a month. They charge a "modest" monthly fee.

BUT I accidentally pressed the wrong icon (no, I'm not jesting) and signed up for a year! Expensive, but now I can make lots of pictures.

It was difficult for me to come up with creative images of spring. I finally made dozens, and then it was difficult to choose favorites.

Anyway, here are some.

Persephone, the ancient Greek Goddess of Spring. I had a heckuva lot of trouble creating her. I was disatisfied with many attempts.

Another version of Persephone. I wanted a golden robe, but it looks kinda pink or peach (?).

Adonis is an ancient Greek God, but has nothing to do with spring. I chose him just because I liked.......the flowers in his hair. He's getting ready for spring.

Every time I mention the word "Medieval" I generate strange pictures. This was supposed to be a Medieval celebration of spring. It looks like a curtain call for Shakespeare's "The Twelfth Night".

Don't ask, don't tell......well, it's kinda sweet......in a Medieval way.

A group of gypsies, dancing to welcome spring. One of my favorites.

A lovely serene spring scene in the countryside.

A family of cats having a spring picnic.

It's not Easter yet, but this reminds me of my childhood.

AI often generates such beautiful people that you could fall in love with them. A sweet spring scene.

This picture of the shepherd and lamb is one of my favorites. I made several different versions.

April showers will bring May flowers.

A serene early evening, scented with the blossoms of spring.

It's no secret I love felines. Here are a couple accompanied with spring flowers.

Pollen, allergies, bee stings, incessantly screeching birds, killer tornadoes - - all the joys of spring.

Jon  ❤️

  1. Sounds like you may be finally on the mend. Glad to hear that.
AI is over my head, but you do make pretty and interesting pictures.
I've been sick. Fever broke this morning. Hopefully I am on the mend, too. :)

    1. I'm sorry to hear that you're sick - - it seems a lot of people are sick lately. I hope your fever will stay down, at least that's a good sign.
I'm feeling better, but it's one problem after another.
      Take care.

  2. Now I am wondering something. Does AI ever make pictures of unattractive people?

"can now fully enjoy the hospital food"

    Snort, chuckle.
    😅

    1. Whenever I describe the people, I call them beautiful or handsome. I'll have to create a hideous crone sometime.
You caught my hospital food remark.😄 Somebody here told me that I'm lucky I can't taste any of the food. Unfortunately, it's true.

  3. thecontemplativecat here. You will have some fun with the AI creations. These images are beautiful. Does the AI app allow you to make one ugly, like the hunchback of Notre dame?

    1. Strangely enough, I've never tried to generate an ugly creature with AI. I'll attempt to do some in the future. Perhaps the hunchback...or a Halloween witch.

    2. I read your comment on Myra's blog, that you have to see a neurologist. Hope everything goes well.

  4. How I love your sarcasm ... and the endless dots, too!
I wonder if AI isn't the offspring of early coloring books? As usual, I'm captivated by the gypsies. The kitties rainy day stroll, too. Central Park, perchance?

    1. Myra, sarcasm is my middle name. I think it covers up my (many) insecurities.
Yes, AI could indeed be an offspring of coloring books. I've always been fascinated with gypsies - - probably because I'm related to some (in my father's family)
Those are probably wealthy kitties, living in New York.

  5. Of course, the kitties are my favorites.... but....'don't ask don't tell' ain't half bad! LOL!
Halloween AI would be really cool. Some witches, black cats and ghosties would tick a lot of boxes! My favorite holiday, indeed!
Glad that URI is improving. These bugs last forever it seems. Any news on the arm biopsy?
    Take care. Feel better.

    1. The kitties are always my favorites. I could have included more Adonis pics. but I don't want to unnerve my innocent visitors. I'm already thinking about Halloween creations.
I won't know about the arm biopsy until next week.
      Thanks, John.

  6. Sarcasm away, Jon! Your Adonis certainly does look like what an Adonis should look like. I love the kitties, all of them.

    1. I never tire of the kitties. I could so a whole series of them. Those feline pictures usually turn out really good.
Adonis turned out good, too. He almost looks beautiful *smile*.
I also enjoy doing images of gypsies (heck, I'm 100% Hungarian).
      Thanks, Sandra.

  7. Spring had arrived. !
The image of yellow chicks brings memories of Easter with toy filled Easter baskets, decorated Easter eggs, marshmallow Peeps and Jordan almonds. Topped off with an Easter dinner of baked honey spiral ham with all the fixin’s and granma Flo’s daffodil cake.
The gypsies remind me of my maternal Hungarian grandmother Josie’s way of surviving the Great Depression, dressing up like a gypsy fortune teller and reading tarot cards for 25 cents and tea leaves for 10 cents, the lady made a mint !
Art is therapy in its own way, for the creator and its audience. :)

There were gypsies in my father's family. I don't think there were any fortune tellers. Most likely theives and killers....
Art is indeed therapy. Thanks, Rj

    1. It's so good to know you're here, Louise, even if you don't comment. I admittedly read many blogs and don't comment. I often have nothing to say.
I hope you're doing well and surviving all of the problems that life throws at us.
      Take care 🩷
