MOMENTS IN PASSING TIME

I'm in no mood to write a medical update. All I'll say is that the agony never ends. I'm presently miserable, ravaged with fear, and thoroughly disgusted. My strength and courage is waning quickly.

As a plausible diversion, I'm offering a video that I made last night. It's unduly long, but I doubt if six minutes will be drastically injurious. I lived in rural Tennessee for over nine years, and often roamed over my property with my ancient digital camera.

As a result, I have hundreds of photos sitting in nearly-forgotten  files. I decided to extract some and make a video. It was a relaxing project to make - - and, I think, to watch.

Fleeting memories captured in the illusion of time - - to remember me.

Jon

  1. I just commented over on the video. This was really nice, Jon. I enjoyed it. You commented once, a while back, about your faith but you did not say much. If it is ok to ask, what is the story there? I don't remember the exact comment or when it was, but it was something like: (Me) Do you know Jesus? (You) We go way back.

    1. Thank you, Sandi, I appreciate your thoughts and input. I usually keep my faith to myself - - but I truly believe that fervent prayers will be answered. I wouldn't have survived without them last summer....

    1. I was initially hesitant to post it, but I decided it was better than writing all my complaints.

  3. What a beautiful video, Jon! It has a very melancholy feel to it and it actually relaxed me a bit - which is incredibly difficult to do with me these days!

Thank you for sharing it with us and, as always, you are in my thoughts and prayers!

  4. I thought it is melancholy, too (which is part of my nature). I'm glad it relaxed you - - I'm at the point where "relaxing" is no longer in my vocabulary.

  5. Such a relaxing video on this early March day, I lost myself in the music and scenery.
I hope that you were able to get your leaking pipe fixed, and with the milder weather, your packages are arriving on time.
Still sending you healing thoughts and wishes, you are in my prayers.

Glad you enjoyed it, Jo. I really like the relaxing music.
My broken water pipe was (finally!) fixed two days ago by two men from a human resource center - - and it was free of charge!
Most of my packages are being delivered on time. I'm trying to convince everyone that my driveway isn't lethal....

  6. I agree your video has relaxed me a bit too. I sure hope things turn around for you. Nothing worst then being out there and limited to the help you can get. The smallest of things to get help with help. I feel like Im getting less and less time to blog anymore. So much going on.

    1. Being in the middle of nowhere is a huge inconvenience, but I'm doing fairly well.....most of the time....
I always read your blog, even though I seldom comment. Your photos are always fantastic.

    2. I'm so glad and happy to hear your doing best as can. When one gets aches and pains, or even like what you have been through, the old Bet Davis quote comes to mind- "Old age ain't' no place for sissies." I say, your built Ford Tough brother. I get happy when I see a post. And to cheer us both up...spring is just around the corner! Thank you for your compliment, Jon.
