I did notice, however, that most of my "liberal" blogger "friends" didn't bother to comment.
They'd secretly be glad to get rid of me.
I've decided to slip out of my cloistered closet and blog more freely about what I think - - rather than what I think people want to hear.
When I'm feeling deeply depressed, I plan to depress the hell out of you.
When I'm in a psychotically nostalgic and melancholic mood (a curse of my Hungarian heritage) I'm going to drown you in sentimentality.
When I occasionally use foul language, I'll hopefully shock you.
Come on, comrades - my blog posts are (usually) so benign that you could read them to your grandchildren.
I'll serenade you with my piano music - just to show off.
I'll occasionally make you laugh.....
and annoy you with sarcasm.
I'll more than occasionally infuriate you with political posts.
I'm officially out of the political closet.
Why the hell should I apologize for my political beliefs??

Sooooo......
what have I been doing lately?
besides battling wasps, bees, flies, mosquitoes, mice mice mice, 'possums, raccoons, twenty-foot-high "weeds" with thorns, and mice....
I've been making homemade booze. Moonshine.
NO - I AM NOT KIDDING.
Since I can't buy the damn stuff in this godforsaken place, I've resorted to brewing my own.
It's still in the fermenting process.
