I will be there through tears of rain, depths of emotional drought, through uncharted waters and uncertain mists, through the promise of rainbows and bountiful days.
I will embrace you in the gentle whisper of an unexpected breeze that rises on the edge of dusk.

Why did I post this? Perhaps it will be the whisper of my spirit, sifting through forest trees......
This is achingly beautiful, Jon. Have you thought about putting it to music?
ReplyDeleteI generally don't like to boast about the things I write, but these words really touch me. I don't think I'd ever be able to set it to music.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and hopeful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sandi - hope is all that keeps me going.
DeleteWhat do you hope for? I mean, if everything could be different.
DeleteHope for good health and a full recovery -- - which is probably hoping for too much.....
DeleteHope is often a phantom that will never materialize.
DeleteSometimes it does.
DeleteSoul-stirring and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHope is important, hold it close.

Rita- your grueling journey has been an inspiration for me. Hope, courage, and determination. Hugs for you and Allie.
DeleteThis is beautiful! My Mom used to say “Live in Hope” and I try to remember that, and I pray you will too. I think of you often Please- Live in Hope Jon.
ReplyDelete"Live in hope" is a beautiful sentiment. Thanks for sharing it with me. It's comforting to know that you think of me often. Hugs.
DeleteI have very recently come to the realization that through terribly tough times, hope is all the more important and sometimes all we in this life.
ReplyDeleteWhen the proverbial tunnel seems eternally dark, we can only hope that there will be light at the end. I'm presently hoping that I'll be able to gain strength and walk again. It's always good to hear from you, Kim. Hugs to you and the fur babies.
