AUTUMN IS NEAR

I'm still struggling with an avalanche of personal problems and don't feel like writing a "regular" blog post.
SO.....
instead, I have been subjecting you to my online book and store endeavors.

On my previous post I astonished you with the recent publication of my poetry book for children Between Dusk and Dawn

Today I'm going to enthrall you with my new Halloween and Autumn collection in my online Zazzle store
Diverse Intentions

The collection is a hodgepodge of Halloween/autumn items - including mugs, t shirts, pillows, etc.

I designed all the items, but - just for the record -  Zazzle sets the prices. I get a royalty percentage for my creative efforts.

  1. I don't buy Halloween gifts, but I bought a beautiful mug from your store a whle ago, and the recipient loved it, so keep up the good work!

    1. Thanks, Jenny! I think Halloween is a bigger event here in the U.S. than anywhere else. It has snowballed into a huge commercially-exploited "holiday".

  2. That pillow is adorable! I'm going to put a link to Diverse Intentions on my Facebook page.

  4. Jon, I wish I had more money to buy your really cool items (I especially like that awesome T-shirt!)

I also am a big fan of cats and owls, so my shopping cart would be overflowing with your special offerings.

However, all I can do is give a special shout out to folks that have much more money than I will ever dream of having. Poverty sucks the big one. I learned that early on.

I hope you are feeling better as the summer quickly disappears. Fall has always been my favorite season. Big hugs to you and your sweet cats.

P.S. Still dropping hints for Mr. Roy to buy a copy or two of your first book...

    1. Dylan, I just revised my first book and the new edition will be available on Amazon in a few days. I like this new edition much better than the previous one.

As for financial problems - I'm presently having so many of them that I can't find a way out. Poverty is indeed HELL.

Unfortunately, the prices on items in Zazzle stores is rather high. I don't set the prices, and I only get a royalty (12 per cent) for the items I sell. It's impossible to make any "real" money unless you sell a LOT of stuff. I've never been any good with self-promotion.

Autumn (and Halloween) has always been my favorite time of year.
By the way, I like your recent blog post. I can identify with having a rotten father.

    1. It's great to hear from you. My cell phone presently isn't working (that's why I haven't been texting). I recently got a new Paypal account. I used to have one when I lived in Texas.
Will hopefully talk to you soon. I'm going through some really bad crap.

I love comments. Go ahead and leave one - I won't bite. But make sure you have a rabies shot just in case.
